Memories

Our memories from back in the day

The corps was coming home late one night from a competition. Dennis Willets had to take a leak really bad. He goes to the bus’s passenger side rear window, opens it up, pulls it out, and starts taking a leak. Out the back window we say the car right behind us turn on it’s windshield wipers

1965 – Ken Varga

The Willets Corner

There was a group of us out back of the VFW practice during a corps event. Bill Westphal was tired of Danny Koweleski coming up to him, grabbing his pop bottle, and taking a large swig from it before giving it back to him. While we were out back BS’ing, Danny walked up, grabbed the mountain dew bottle, and took a big swig. Danny’s eyes got big as he spit the liquid out. Bill got up and ran for his life as Danny chased him all over the VFW parking lot. Bill had peed in the bottle and left it sitting by him. Good thing Bill was a fast runner as Danny would have killed him that day!
